I create mixed media botanical artwork using primarily collage, acrylic, and colored pencil. Outdated and thrifted maps are frequently incorporated into my artwork, representing the journey of past into future. Words and poetry weave throughout, echoing letters and postcards sent and received from global travel. I am continuously fascinated with the meanings behind plants and flowers and place them as the focal point of my work. Combined, the elements tell a story of their own.

Jenny studied Painting and Printmaking at San Diego State University,earned an MAT in Museum Education from The George Washington University, and holds a certificate in Children’s Book Illustration from the University of California, San Diego. She is a member of Oregon Society of Artists and has shown at Lunaria Gallery in Silverton, Oregon.

Jenny lives on a small homestead in West Linn, Oregon with her family.
